As an author, especially a first time author, I am excited when given the opportunity to share my story. Hi Diane the interview went wonderfully well and when it was over while I was getting up off the couch I tore the meniscus and large tendon im my left knee. I was taken to hosp via ambulance after a week they brought me back home via ambulance where I await suegery on mar 20th. I am confined to the one floor of my four level back split where there is a bathroon and my hubby put a bed in the room. I am at this time unable to walk up the stairs the knee is locked and the pain horrible. Once the surgery is done there is a 5 week recoup period and then it should be fine. I am so frustrated but I guess it is one more thing in life I will learn to deal with. Oh well such as life.

I am glad the interview was good, but I’m so sorry to hear about your knee. I pray it will be healed much sooner than expected. It doesn’t look as if I will get to Brantford now until the annual book sale – usually the 3rd week in April. So we may have to wait until the next visit after that to get together though I hope by the end of April you will be through much of your recuperation period. I pray that the pain level will diminish quickly and that surgery will happen ASAP.
